Leading Glass Packaging Manufacturer – Segment Sales Manager DACH

Having worked with this leading glass and specialist packaging business since 2003 Martin Hamilton of Standley Associates has recruited several management positions in a variety of disciplines - including Sales, Buying and Human Resources - in Germany and Central Europe for the company, one of the largest manufacturer worldwide of glass packaging.

The Segment Sales Manager position came about due to the Board Directors deciding to re-invigorate and re-establish its dominance within the specialist drinks market in the DACH region.

Martin Hamilton of Standley Associates took on the search concentrating on sourcing qualified candidates within the drinks sector with sales and management experience, initially within Germany.

The search began in the area of North-West Germany and extended finally throughout the country culminating in a successful conclusion to the recruitment.

Having identified and located the key players, Standley Associates was then able to skills and behavioraly investigate the most suitable possible candidates.

All of the targetted individuals were discreetly approached and considered and thorough face to face meetings were then conducted and a shortlist of suitable and interested candidates submitted to the Board.

The successful candidate came from a leading business within the Rhine-Main region and had been responsible for the key sales region of central Frankfurt with some 5000 customers.
